Receive What God Has Promised
What do you do when everything in life seems to be working against you? Often during these times, anxiety and stress try to gain control of the throne of our hearts. That is why when things get tough, many quit? But the word of God declares you as a conqueror and and calls for you to say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil 4:13 God knows that when you’re circumstances are the worst, the opportunity for a miracle is the best. Listen to God’s advice for you today.
Heb 10:35-36 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
Instead of cowering to those challenges, God wants us to go on the offensive and possess the land he has given us! The children of Israel wandered in the desert for 40 years because they were afraid to go and do what God said they could do.
Deut 1:21 See, the Lord your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Years ago, while facing a challenging time in my life, I felt like God spoke to me and said, “it’s a set-up, so don’t let-up.” He wouldn’t have said that to me unless he knew that I was tempted to retreat. Likewise, the trials you are facing are a set-up, so it is no time to let-up! Stand firm in the love God has for you! He will never leave you nor forsake you. Heb 13:5 Do not be moved by the fiery trials; instead, be moved by faith and be the overcomer God has declared you to be! Be determined to focus on God’s promises instead of on the problems!
God is on your side! You cannot lose because the battle is the Lords! Today, I address your heart and say, “Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Eph 6:10 I am praying that your faith will rest in our unchanging, unmovable God and that you will overcome everything the enemy has planned against you! Yes, you will overcome, and you will be filled with joy as you witness the glory of the Lord being displayed in and through your life! Hallelujah!
The unchanging, unmovable rock of God’s truth lets me know that God is in love with you and will never, ever let you down. King David said, “I was young, and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” Ps 37:5
Oh, Yes! Because you understand your rights and privileges as a favored child of God, you will live by faith and receive what God has promised you! Thank you, Jesus!
