ALL HIS BLESSING!

Approaching God based upon on one’s own righteousness puts a person up a creek without a paddle – hopeless and helpless! Instead of walking by faith, the children of Israel continually tried to serve God in their own strength and power. As a result, they were often at odds with God, living far from his blessing and favor. If you look at this Scripture in light of the new covenant God has made with us through Jesus Christ, it will make you excited!

Deuteronomy 7:12-15 “If you listen to these regulations and faithfully obey them, the LORD your God will keep his covenant of unfailing love with you, as he promised with an oath to your ancestors. He will love you and bless you, and he will give you many children. He will give fertility to your land and your animals. When you arrive in the land he swore to give your ancestors, you will have large harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil, and great herds of cattle, sheep, and goats. You will be blessed above all the nations of the earth. None of your men or women will be childless, and all your livestock will bear young. And the LORD will protect you from all sickness. He will not let you suffer from the terrible diseases you knew in Egypt, but he will inflict them on all your enemies! (NLT)

The righteousness God requires now is the righteousness that comes from faith and faith alone! Take a look.

Galatians 3:11-14  So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” 12 This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says, “It is through obeying the law that a person has life.” 13  But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 14  Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith. (NLT)

God sent Jesus to fulfill the law perfectly for us! It is as if he took the test but gave us his score. He did this so that you and I could enter into the full blessing of being righteous in his sight and called one of his very own. Now we have been made one with Christ and are heirs of God and Co-heirs with Jesus Christ. Rom 8:17

Do you see God’s amazing plan? He dearly loves you! He has made a way for you! Your right standing with God is no longer based upon your works but instead on faith! Believing God is the most righteous thing you will ever do in all of your life! Believing is what pleases God the most! True faith in God comes down to believing that God now sees you as righteous and utterly perfect because of the sacrifice of Jesus and his shed blood!

You can be very excited because faith in God’s provision through Jesus Christ now puts you in a position to live in his amazing love and share in ...
