God's Reality to This World

God uses the canvas of the universe to declare his reality to us! As you look at the stars, oceans, rivers, and all his creatures, he wants you to see him and his love for you! Trying to fully comprehend the passion and love that God has for you is like trying to put all the oceans of the world into a teaspoon; it is simply impossible! God is more in love with you than you have ever fathomed. Not only is he in love with you, but he is in love with the people of this world! He longs for them to know how much he cares for them and how he wants them to be with him for all eternity!

It is most interesting to note that evil runs rampant when love is not the modus vivendi. As Edmund Burke so aptly stated, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good man do nothing.” That is how it is in this world, your family, marriage, etc. Evil will always triumph when love is not in control. Oh, that we would understand how truly loved, we are! Receiving the revelation of God’s love is the only way God can transform the world through us. Remember, we can only give away what we possess!

John 3:16   “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

Wow! God loves you with an everlasting love! Think about this; He loves your neighbor, your coworker, that person down the street, and that guy at the gas station with that very same everlasting love! Should they have the privilege of knowing this love? The answer is an emphatic YES! So, why are we, as the body of Christ, not more effective at letting the world know the love of God? The answer is this – my outward effectiveness is directly linked to my inward reality. When my mind knows no other way to perceive my existence except inside of the love of God, then those around me will, without a doubt, experience the reality I live in.

Mark 16:15  Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”

St. Francis of Assisi is often attributed the coining of this phrase; “Preach the Gospel at all times and if necessary use words.” I believe our life should speak louder than our words. Words are needed, but a life that lives the words we say is even better! What is more, you are designated by God to be an ambassador of his love!

2Cor 5:20  We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Oh, yes! You are called to represent! Just as a painting reveals the heart of a painter, so, God wants to review his heart through you. Can the world look at you and see God? You are God’s ambassador! Today’s your day to be all about business –the business of heaven – sharing the good news of God’s love! God wants to flow through you today! How can this happen? Set your mind fully on the reality of God and his love for you today! The more God’s love becomes you, the more you will be…
