Most of us enjoy the stories of Sherlock Holmes and people like him who could solve mysteries that stumped even the best of detectives. Though Sherlock and others like him were very skilled, some things are so profound that they are unsearchable.

Romans 11:33-36  Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?”  “Who has ever given to God that God should repay him?”  For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

God is more wonderful, powerful, loving, and beautiful than we have ever dreamed! The idea of him speaking the world into existence yet being in love with little me is mind-blowing. Consider this; God is a friend of sinners; he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked, yet the Creator of our unfathomable universe. Maybe even more profound is the thought that God anxiously awaits your pursuit of him!

John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Wow! My mind goes wild as I pondered the glory and wonder of who God is! It is staggering to consider that God longs to reveal himself to you and anxiously awaits moments of intimacy with you. Are you humble enough to receive the truth that the God who spoke the universe into existence longs to be close to you? Oh, that we would fully embrace this reality because only as we embrace it can we experience how good, kind, and loving our God is!

I am wholly convinced that God’s love and heart towards us wildly exceeds anything we have ever conceived! There is no love story ever told that can compare with the depth, width, and height of God’s love for us! Indeed, it is…
