This Train Is A-Comin
With all that’s going on in the world, it seems as if the stage is being perfectly set and ready for God’s final plans to be executed on planet Earth! It’s like a train coming, and nothing can stop it. If there ever was an exciting time to live – it is now! Very shortly, we will be in the arms of Jesus forever!
We are beyond blessed by God, who has loved us with an everlasting love and given us his forever settled Word! As described in his Word, God’s plan will indeed come to pass, and it would be wise for us all to be getting ready! The thought of being prepared for what God will do reminds me of the person getting ready to be married. Those who prepare for a wedding do everything possible to be fully ready for their special event! God’s great plan for us, his bride, will be far greater than a human wedding; indeed, it will be monumental! It is so essential that we prepare!
Rom 13:11-13 And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
The marriage ceremony of Christ and the church will happen soon, and as you know, when a bride gets married, she wears special clothes. Do you know that spiritually, we are to be wearing special clothing? The Scripture above says we are to clothe ourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ. How do we clothe ourselves with Jesus Christ? We do it by fully accepting his sacrifice and therefore live inside of his love, forgiveness, and freedom! Living inside of the good opinion of God is being clothed the same way Adam and Eve were clothed before they fell. They were naked on the outside, but in their minds, they lived with the mindset of being perfect in God’s sight, not lacking anything, and nothing broken.
The most exciting days for the body of Christ are directly in front of us. We are getting ready to step into the living reality of the gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that has never happened in history! The Scripture says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1Cor 2:9
What God has in store for you and me is beyond amazing! God will do everything possible to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to spend eternity with him! Because of this, I believe a mighty revival is brewing! Like a train, I believe a powerful move of God is getting ready to sweep the nations. I pray that you are inspired to go after God’s purpose for your life as never before! May you be encouraged to prepare for what’s right ahead because I can assure you…
