Let's Make a Difference
People often underestimate the power of simple obedience and making the right choices! God set up the universe so that everything we do and say has a payment plan. What we plant is what we will end up harvesting. Obeying God and making the right choices doesn’t just impact those right around us; it affects the entire world. Jesus is our example. He obeyed his Father and made the right choices.
Romans 5:15-19 But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ. 16 And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.
18 Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. 19 Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. NLT
God’s love for us is amazing beyond description! How thankful I am for the incredible gift of God’s righteousness given to us through Jesus! Though the sin of Adam brought guilt and shame to the world, Jesus’ one act of obedience brought freedom and perfect standing with God.
You may not know it, but your life is affecting many around you! Today, your simple obedience and trust in God can profoundly impact the people around you! I dare you to go all the way with God today! I dare you to wholly receive that you are loved, forgiven, and free! As you go about living in that love and freedom, I dare you to do one more thing – give it away! Somebody needs to know how much God loves them! Someone needs to know how valuable they are! I can assure you that those who have a genuine encounter with God’s love can never be the same again!
As I think of you and pray for you today, I am asking God to empower you to touch someone with God’s amazing and wonderful love! Your simple obedience to love on someone today has the power to bring about significant change! I believe that the body of Christ is rising up to be a force of love in this world as never before! I know that people will be touched and encouraged today – I wonder how many. Now is your time – today is your day…
