Jesus told us to pray, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Mat 6:10 Though God wants all of us to experience the life of heaven, very few know of its wonder! Most people mistakenly pursue Christianity with the mindset of trying to be good enough to deserve God. We know that the law of God demands obedience, but those who try to live righteously outside of faith and God’s grace will always live in failure and graphic disappointment! The ability to live a Christlike life is only possible through grace which is accessed only through faith. Yes, faith can take you where your human efforts could never go!

Romans 1:5 Through him and for his name’s sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith.

Titus 2:11-14  For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

True obedience does not come from trying hard; it only comes through faith and a genuine relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. Many people know about this as an ideology they agree with, but not many live in its reality.

Galatians 5:16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

Romans 8:13-14 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Living by the Spirit is living with your mind in complete alignment with who God is and who he says you are. Living by the Spirit taps you into the undeserved power of God (grace), which is accessed through childlike faith. Those who will step into the wonderful life that God has provided through Jesus will be those who understand and receive three things –

1.    Jesus came to take the proverbial test of life and aced it.

2.    The score that Jesus achieved on that test (complete and total perfection)  is offered to you as a free gift.

3.    No amount of works or lack thereof can achieve or deny you the free gift God is offering.

Wow! This is outrageously wonderful to those who will receive it! It is easy to hear these types of things and not truly grasp the profound gravity of its truth! It is easy to know these things in your head but not experience them in real life. Those who are willing to believe and receive the free gift of complete and total righteousness granted through Jesus are those who can come to God with complete confidence because they know that they are 100% perfect in his sight! This kind of faith requires the humility and faith of a child. The only way to experience the glorious freedom found in Christ is to surrender to it and receive. Don’t ever think you can work it up – you must soak it up!

God has given us his Holy Spirit to let us know how loved we are.

Romans 5:5 The love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.

Living in the Spirit is when you live your hours, minutes, and seconds, fully convinced that God is in love with you and you are perfect in his sight.

Hebrews 10:14 For as by one sacrifice, he has made perfect forever, those who are being made holy.

The more you are convinced of your right standing with God, the more your life will begin to look like God! God wants you to live every minute knowing you are loved, forgiven, and free! Complete surrender to God’s provision of total righteousness through the sacrifice of Jesus is the beginning of living heavens life right here on earth!

I can promise you this; the life you’ve always wanted is found within the truths of this Encouraging Note! I believe it is time for us as the body of Christ to step into the glorious life that God has offered us. Those who live this life are free from shame and condemnation, fear and anxiety, and experience the glory of being totally loved! It is beyond wonderful – It is inexpressible!!! God has given you his Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into the truth of all he has provided for you. Why? Because he desperately wants you to be…
