I Am Blessed
Those who are true sons or daughters of Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, or the like would be considered blessed – at least financially speaking! But there is a blessing that far surpasses that of money and possessions. Those who tap into the life of God not only tap into what it means to be truly fulfilled and loving life on this earth, but they tap into everything that God is! Jesus said, “The thief’s purpose (Satan and his plan to make people live by performance) is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” John 10:10.
God wants you to have a rich and satisfying life more than you want for yourself! God designed our existence on this earth so that we would have everything that we need for both natural life and spiritual life. As God’s heirs, we are not only blessed but in a win-win situation – there is no way we can lose! Hallelujah!
Ephesians 1:3-8 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.
Wow! Do you see it? If you’re a child of God, you are blessed! There are plenty of people who have money but don’t love life! God is like a super-rich life coach – not only can he tell you how to live successfully and completely fulfilled, but he has all the resources to make it happen! Though money is essential and indeed part of the blessing God wants to give us, it is the lowest on the list of God’s greatest blessings for us!
God longs for you to experience what is far greater than any natural blessing – the very life he lives in! A person who learns to live in the secret place of faith will unlock the doors of the life of being loved, forgiven, and free! And that life is where all other blessing is acquired!
The most abundant life one can ever experience is the life of intimacy with God himself! Yes, intimacy with God is infinitely superior to anything this world has to offer! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me.” John 14:6. The abundant life – the life of true fulfillment, can only be found in God!
My heart is with you today! I am praying and believing God that your faith would increase! I’m praying that you would be so surrendered to God’s truth that you would genuinely believe all that he believes about you because then you will confidently say along with those who have tapped into the extraordinary life of God…
