Your Extraordinary Life

Success coaches and successful people often discuss the power of reading the right books. I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase, “readers are leaders, and leaders are readers.” Why is this? It’s the principle of sowing and reaping. What goes in your mind through your eyes and ears will produce a harvest in your life! If you’re wise enough to take an honest inventory of your thought life, you will realize that it has brought you to your current life destination.

We often underestimate the power of right-thinking! Have you ever taken the time to do a sincere and thorough accounting of your thought life? Those who are very successful deem it wise to think about what you think about because they intimately understand that you become what you think about the most. The wisest man that ever lived said, “Above all else, guard your heart, for from it come all the issues of life.” Prov 4:23

So why isn’t everybody tenaciously pursuing the best input? It is much easier to sit in front of the television or scroll through YouTube or other social media outlets to be entertained than to set our minds on successful books, podcasts, and the like. Life has allotted you a specific amount of time; what you do with it is your choice.

I have often argued that man’s will to choose is the only thing more powerful than God. Even though God has said that he is not willing that any should perish but that all should come into the freedom of a changed mind (repentance) (2Pet 3:9), many will perish because they choose to reject God. What is my point? Only you have the power to change your thoughts!

God wants to empower you to go much higher than you have ever dreamed; it is, therefore, crucial that you look into the mirror of your life and take 100% responsibility for where you are and where you are going! No one on the entire planet, including God, can make you experience the extraordinary life he has for you found in heavenly thoughts! Pay close attention to this word from heaven for you.

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is –his good, pleasing and perfect will.

If I bought you a brand-new automobile of your choice, I would want you to test and approve of how good, pleasing and perfect it is for you. Likewise, God’s good, pleasing and perfect will is available for you! Through right-thinking, you can jump in and test out how wonderful it is!

Without a doubt, what you behold (meditate on) is what you will become! Today is a gift from God! Today is your day to set your mind on the good things of God for your life rather than on any negative circumstances or negative news that comes your way. Those who think God’s thoughts today are those who will live God’s dreams for their lives tomorrow! If you want something you’ve never had, you will have to do something you’ve never done!

Don’t let anyone fool you; a great life isn’t a stroke of luck; it is a choice to set your mind on what God believes about you! Great thoughts are where extraordinary lives are conceived! Do you want a life filled with purpose and significance? Today is your day – now is your time to take 100% responsibility for what you are thinking about.
