I don’t think we have scratched the surface when it comes to understanding our extreme value to God. I promise you – his love for us is outrageously amazing and beyond fully comprehending! The following Scripture reveals a mind-blowing view of God’s love and what he desires for us!

Ephesians 3:14-19   For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.  I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

The only thing the Bible explicitly says that you need power from God to comprehend is his love for us. No love in all of the world can compare with the magnificent beauty of God’s love for us! I don’t know about you, but as I study the Word of God, the profound display of his love for us renders me speechless and overwhelmed. Me… He loves me! All my failures, mistakes, inconsistencies, disobedience, etc., etc., etc. Wow! Absolutely stunning!

King David often found himself overwhelmed by the love of God – look at what he said.

Ps 8:1-9  1Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. 2Through the praise of children and infants, you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. 3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon, and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?  5 You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. 6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: 7all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, 8the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. 9Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

God’s love is so immense and limitless that grasping even a fragment of its grandeur requires power from heaven! Oh, my dear friend, may you go higher, deeper, and wider into God’s love for you today! Right now, the fullness of God is all around you and within you. Now is the time for the heavens to rain upon your thirsty soul!

Today God longs for you to recognize and fully receive the glorious life that is already yours in Christ! May the reality of God and his incredible love for you fill your heart! Right now, you have the glorious opportunity to let go and receive more deeply than ever before…
