I Double Dog Dare You

With all that’s happening in the world, it seems as if the stage is set for the church to explode! When Covid19 hit, a new door for tremendous ministry for the body of Christ became a reality! Was it, or has it been easy? No! Accomplishing great things will always come through adversity!

I love what the great general in the faith, Reinhard Bonnke, once said, “Make the great commission your great ambition.” And what better time than now! God has put you and me on this earth as his hands, feet, and mouth. We are the ambassadors of heaven, and our message must be clear. Without you and I doing our job, the world will never hear the precious word of God’s love. Look at apostle Paul’s response regarding those who have never heard about Jesus.

Romans 10:14-15 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

The love of God is what makes the children of God bold. Apostle John exclaimed, “Perfect love casts out fear.” 1 Jn 4:18  When you know that your righteous through the blood of Jesus and that God dearly loves you, boldness and wisdom come upon you to fulfill the heart cry of heaven.

Prov 28:1 says, “The righteous are as bold as a lion.” 

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. 

Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” 

I dare you to get inflamed with the heart cry of heaven! I dare you to touch your world with the precious, good news of Jesus! I can almost hear God calling your name today! May you be challenged by the Spirit of God to share the love of Jesus with someone today! Do you know that you are called to be an ambassador of Christ? Take a look.

2 Corinthians 5:18-21 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are, therefore, Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

With social media at our fingertips and the digital world before us, we have unique tools to bring hope to a hurting world! Don’t wait until tomorrow – often, tomorrow never comes. Today is your day to shine for Christ! Yes, I dare you to step out and make this day count! Now is your moment to make the great commission your great ambition! You are Christ’s ambassador, and here is your official challenge…
