Passionately Say I Am Loved!
God’s most precious thoughts are and always have been all about you! Not many genuinely believe that to be true, but it is God’s heart nonetheless. Look at these powerful words God spoke through the prophet Jeremiah.
Jer 31:3 The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”
Jeremiah 1:5 I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.”
Have you ever considered just how important you are to God? Is the idea that you are everything God has ever wanted a fairytale to you or a reality? Understanding and internalizing the truth of your extreme value to God is the key to experiencing God’s abundant life
We have often heard the following Scripture preached with fire and condemnation to those perceived as not doing it good enough.
Mk 12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
Loving God with that kind of intensity is not something you try hard to accomplish but instead is a natural response to the revelation of God’s love for you! 1Jn 4:19 declares, “We love God because he first loved us.” Loving God is a response! The more I recognize and receive his love for me, the more I find myself overwhelmed by his love! The passion and love I feel towards God is merely a response to his precious heart towards me. The blessing of experiencing the love of heaven and then reciprocating that love towards God is a privilege beyond our wildest dreams!
1Jn 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God because God is love.
Love is not just a good idea – it is the central plan and purpose of eternity! Everybody loves those who love them, but loving those who hate you is an act of God within you! Those who do not love have not been adequately touched by the revelation of God’s love (1Jn 4:7-8). The Genesis of all humanity was cocooned inside of God’s love and cannot operate properly without it! In the beginning, no rules were needed because love was the supervisor for all of life.
I am convinced that there is nothing the world needs more than an infusion of the precious love of God! As we humbly receive his magnificent love, we are forever changed and find ourselves loving him and others with the same love.
Do you realize how loved you are? May the central truth of God’s existence and the purpose of all humanity be revealed to you today!
