You Can Do It

Did you know that you are in a race? As Christians, our race is to touch as many people as possible with the glorious truth of the gospel! Our world desperately needs to see the manifestation of Christ in his body! Though we are supposed to be running this race, many are procrastinating, and some have even quit.

Have you ever been tempted to procrastinate? We all have certain areas where we are more tempted than others to put things off. But, as you know, procrastinating doesn’t usually produce very good results! In most situations, the best thing you can do is buckle down and get it done! How often have you felt like not doing it, but you did it anyway? Usually, the most significant setbacks provide an opportunity for even greater comebacks! God did not bring you this far to take you back into the world of failure! NO! Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world! 1 John 4:4. Oh, yes, you were created to win and do great things!

Rev 3:10-11   Since you have kept My command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one will take your crown.

God created you for greatness, so get in the game; procrastinating or quitting is not an option! Apostle Paul knew the importance of running the race of impacting this world for Christ. Here is what he said:

1 Cor 9:24-27  Do you not know that in a race, all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

God has called you to conquer! Apostle Paul wrote, “No, and all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37. Yes, the word of God declares you to be an overcomer just like – God!

The more you receive who God says you are, the more excitement for life will well up within your being! The secret to doing great things is believing what God believes about you! Thinking upon those thoughts will cause passion to rise up within you to accomplish the wonderful things God created you for!

Your revelation of God’s love and grace will empower you to subdue the temptations to procrastinate or quit! God loves you more than you will ever be able to fully fathom! His desire is that you would have all of him! With God, all things are possible! Mt 19:26 Today am praying that you will be ignited by the passionate fire of God’s love for you!
