Loving God with that kind of intensity is not something you try to accomplish but a natural response to the revelation of God’s love for you! 1 Jn 4:19 declares, “We love God because he first loved us.” Loving God is a response! The more I recognize and receive his love for me, the more I find myself being overwhelmed by his love! The sense of awe and extreme admiration and love that I feel for him is a response to his precious heart towards me.
