Many people make decisions based upon the fear of what people may think of them rather than upon what they genuinely want or know to be best. How many great ideas were never acted upon because of the fear of what others would think or the fear of failure? How many people are not stepping out and pursuing their dreams because they are afraid of responsibility? Those who are world-changers or who create significant breakthroughs for humanity are those who are willing to step out and do what they’re called to do no matter what others may think.

FREE FROM FEAR
Think about it. How many disastrous things happen because people lash out in fear? How many businesses that could have been a great success were never started because of fear? How many books were never written or songs never recorded because of the fear of man or the fear of failure?
2 Tim 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. So, if fear does not come from God, why do we fear so much? Also, if God did not give us fear, it stands to reason that he does not want us to have it. It almost seems as if the whole world is driven by the spirit of fear.

It seems like we are quick to try hard but slow to pray. There is story after story in the Bible of those who prayed and received life-altering answers. Why was it that prayer was always the key that tapped them into the necessary help or breakthrough that they needed? It is so easy to trust in ourselves rather than trust in God. If this world is going to experience the goodness and love of God, it will happen because of those who will shake the powers of the heavens through prayer!
