LOVE MUCH!

Luke chapter 7 records the story of a woman who was known to be a sinful woman, and who came to a private meeting of a few powerful, self-righteous men and Jesus. Being overwhelmed by the love and forgiveness she felt from Jesus, she proceeded to carry out an unforgettable plan prompted by her love. After coming through the door, this woman fell to her knees at the feet of Jesus and used her tears as the water to wash his feet and her hair to dry them. As she was kissing Jesus' feet and washing them with her tears and hair, she poured a very expensive perfume (worth a whole year's wages) on his feet as she wept. Then Jesus made this profound statement:

Luke 7:47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.

This woman knew that her sin was great but could feel the even greater love of Jesus consuming her mind, body and soul. The love of Jesus was greater than her sin and canceled out her fear! She felt so loved by Jesus that her response made an extraordinary mark for her in history. Jesus said,"Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.” (Mt 26:13)

Full surrender to the love of God is an irreplaceable quality. When we know that we are perfectly loved by God, we care about what God cares about and obtain extraordinary favor from him.

Today is your day to be loved and to love! The scripture says, "we love God because he first loved us." (1Jn 4:19)

So what should you do? The most important thing you’ll ever do is to receive the incredible and amazing, undeserved love of God! The second most important thing you will ever do is a response to the first, and that is to love him back with everything you have! Oh… This is the beautiful life! May heavens love-flow be yours today because it's time to…

LOVE MUCH!
