LET THEM KNOW?
The highest and most rewarding calling in the world is the calling of sharing the Gospel (God's incredibly good news) to those who don't yet know! I am not talking about the gift of evangelism but rather the natural reaction of one who has found the cure to all the woes of mankind. Listen to what apostle Paul says in the book of Romans.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. (NIV)
When someone experiences this incredibly good news, it makes them excited to share it! Everyone needs to know how wonderfully fulfilling it is to be accepted and loved by God; forever intimate with him! Listen to what apostle Paul says in his letter to the Corinthians.
2Cor 5:13-21 If we are out of our mind, it is for the sake of God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
God has an army of ambassadors; they are all those who have experienced the good news of Jesus Christ. When an ambassador of a country speaks, it is as if the president himself is speaking. God has called you and I to share the precious love he has for this world to those we come in contact with. When you know you are loved by God and perfect in his sight, you can't help but share the good news that you have! You want to tell everyone in all of the world how crazy good it is to know God’s, amazing love!
When you have the cure for all the woes of humanity it is most exciting to get out there and let them know. Have you experienced how good it is to know God?
