THIS DWELLING IS FOR YOU!
God's thoughts towards you are amazing! Think about this...God loves you so much, he is longing for you to permanently dwell in the place he lives–the place where amazing, abundant life is so surreal that it is as if the very air is saturated by it. I am not talking about heaven, but rather the place in which heaven exists… The glory and presence of God!
John 17:20-24 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
Jesus was not talking about going to heaven, he was talking about a place he lived in all the time here on earth. This is where Jesus lived at all times and where he wants us to also live at all times. This dwelling place really is for you and God is longing for you to live there. Psalm 91 calls it, “The secret place of the Most High."
Ps 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (KJV)
This is a powerful truth… The glory of God is accessed within the love of God. Truly accepting his love is the cry of God's heart for you! You are so important and so valuable! Jesus, going to the cross, is absolute proof of your value to him! There's no way you could ever comprehend the fullness of God's tenderness and love and compassion for you! I believe it is time for us to humble ourselves, let go, and fully accept God's love for us! Why? … Because.....
