NO TITLE NECESSARY FOR GOD TO SHOW UP!

Some people think because one has a fancy title or is a "big shot" in some way, that God uses them, but this is not true. There were much higher callings during the days of Jesus than being a shepherd! God isn’t looking for big shots, but rather uses the lowest of the low to fulfill his world-changing, eternal purposes. It doesn't matter what your financial or social status is, how short or tall, big or small you are, but rather if you are someone who is yielded to God and willing for his purpose to flow through you! Are you willing?

(Luke 2:8-11 ) And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.

David, son of Jesse, was of such little consequence that he wasn’t even considered when the prophet Samuel came by to pick a king for the nation of Israel. The young boy, David, was out in the field doing the lowliest of jobs, being a shepherd. After seven of the eight sons of Jesse passed before Samuel, the prophet said their father, Jesse, "The Lord has not chosen these.” 11 So he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?” “There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.” Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.” (1 Sam 16:10-11)

God was not going to allow this humble, servant to miss the great calling on his life. Don’t ever be fooled by external looks, talent or titles; God is looking for a qualified heart! If God can show up to shepherds out in the field; if he can call the shepherd boy, David, out of the fields, then he can show up to you at your home or at your job or anywhere else! Are you ready? God is looking for an appointment with you! And…
