THERE IS NO POWER IN PRAYER!

What if I told you that there was no power in prayer… What would you think? Maybe that I was a heretic or had lost my mind? Consider this… Many people pray from every kind of religion and faith and the majority never access the power of God. Why? The reason why is because there is no power in the act of prayer – there is only power in accessing the presence of God. Make no mistake, faith is the only thing that taps us into God and that is why gave us this profound scripture.

“And without faith, it is impossible to please God. For those who come to him must believe that he is, and that he rewards those who diligently seek him.” Heb 11:6

Prayer never excesses power until there is a recognition of the reality of God all around and within. Also, successful prayer is not something I do in the morning or at some specific time, but rather a lifestyle. Living in the presence of God is a prerequisite to powerful prayer. Jesus never left the presence of God and therefore his “special times" or “dates” with God released verifiable power! To experience the kind of prayer that releases power, one's life must be centered around honoring God and living inside of his love, forgiveness, and grace at all times! Apostle Paul said, “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21For apostle Paul, living on this earth meant, living in the presence and purpose of God!

Prayer is the place of communication and intimacy with God. God does not need us to communicate with him because he is lonely or is wanting some kind of affirmation – No! God longs for us to pray to him because that is where he can give us all that he is! There is ecstasy available for those who will get close to God! Apostle James says,  "Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.” James 4:8

Don’t ever forget, accessing God and his power is by faith alone! No amount of works will cause you to experience his abundant glory! It is crucial that you live in his glorious presence, day by day, minute by minute – because without faith accessing the presence of God…
