Determination is the fifth characteristic of a dreamer. Determination can be characterized as firmness of purpose, resoluteness, willpower, strength of character, single-mindedness or purposefulness. Determination may be best described by the word perseverance. We must be determined to go to the very end and never give up! If you want something you've never had, you must do something you've never done! There is nothing worth obtaining that will be easy to obtain, and you can be sure, there will be things along the way that will cause you to want to give up. Apostle Paul's admonition to us in the book of Galatians clearly speaks of determination. 

Galatians 6:9  Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

The secret to living a life of determination is focusing on God and his plan for your life. This is vision and is the power from him to fulfill the mighty purpose for which you were created. Vision is the inspiration to push all boundaries that keep you limited. Apostle Paul said it like this: "To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me. Colossians 1:29The energy of God is his powerful vision inside of you.

Abraham Lincoln, after seven times of trying to get in the Senate, was asked if he was tired of failing and he said, "I have not failed, I just haven't reached what I am pursuing yet." Apostle James said that it is the trying of our faith produces perseverance. James 1:3 Every dreamer who will witness their dreams come to fruition will consistently, daily set those dreams before them.Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 12:2 that we can be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Every day we must renew our minds with the wonderful dreams and goals that God has put in our hearts to do. A life of true success will be a life of stepping out into risky adventures. A word from God is what you will step out on.
