THEY ARE YOUR VERY LIFE!

Prov 4:20-22 My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body.

God is continually speaking, trying to steer away from pain those who are headed down its path. The enemy is looking for an opportunity to bring destruction and destroy lives and our choice, whether or not to listen to the Word of God determines which way we will go. If only we would listen to that still small voice of the Holy Spirit, what calamity could be avoided, what painful trials would have never been. God is speaking…are we listening?

2 Chronicles 36:15-20 GNT The LORD, the God of their ancestors, had continued to send prophets to warn his people, because he wanted to spare them and the Temple.  But they made fun of God's messengers, ignoring his words and laughing at his prophets, until at last the LORD's anger against his people was so great that there was no escape. So the LORD brought the king of Babylonia to attack them. The king killed the young men of Judah even in the Temple. He had no mercy on anyone, young or old, man or woman, sick or healthy. God handed them all over to him.  The king of Babylonia looted the Temple, the Temple treasury, and the wealth of the king and his officials, and took everything back to Babylon.   He burned down the Temple and the city, with all its palaces and its wealth, and broke down the city wall.  He took all the survivors to Babylonia, where they served him and his descendants as slaves until the rise of the Persian Empire.

There is nothing God does that is not in alignment with his perfect love. Even in judgment, his true purpose is love! Because of his love for his people, he would allow destruction so that he would not completely lose his people, but rather one day he would be reconciled to them again and be able to bless them. Please know, the character of God never changes; he still is love and truth– tenderness and justice! Please heed God's call, his tender words of instruction and correction for your life! You can be sure...

THEY ARE YOUR VERY LIFE!
