BEYOND AMAZING!
A love, so amazing, that it is far beyond full comprehension. God’s incredible love that afforded our forgiveness is hard to grasp. God is longing for us to experience his life of complete freedom and wholeness. Those who experience complete internal freedom experience heaven’s abundant life and prosperity. King David, a murderer, and adulterer, understood something that you and I, in this day and age, need to get a hold of.
Ps 32:1-2 Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins a covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.
Psalms 103:8-13 The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him
Can you put a price tag on forgiveness…the eternal forgiveness of God? There is nothing worth more than the state of your soul! Your soul is your mind, will, and emotions. Your soul is what determines your quality of life. Many a person has been rich in money but poor in soul and therefore hated life. Listen to apostle Peter’s words regarding this.
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Pet 1:8-9
The end goal of your faith in Christ is that you would step into the life he lives in. In other words, your thoughts, feelings, and emotions line up with the truth that declares that you are loved, forgiven and free! Apostle Paul, before his conversion to Christ, was also a murderer and hateful man. Look at what he said about this.
Eph 3:7-8 I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of his power. 8 Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ,
Rom 3:10-12 As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; 11 there is no one who understands;
there is no one who seeks God. 12 All have turned away, they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good, not even one.” (NIV)
Rom 3:19-20 19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin. (NIV)
Living by one’s own righteousness is not only a dead-end, but it is also a destructive path! The path to real freedom is accessed through the gospel of God’s grace through Jesus Christ. Don’t trust in your own righteousness even for a second! God's precious love for you is beyond anything you have ever thought of or even dreamed! All of your sin, mistakes, and failures have been paid for through the blood and cross of Jesus Christ! How beautiful – how wonderful! You have extreme value in God’s sight! You are everything he has ever wanted! Don't waste another second living in condemnation – today is your day to truly live! This life of living loved, forgiven and free is so amazing that words fail to describe how wonderful it is! I guess the best way to describe it is to say that it’s…
