YOU CAN’T SEE IT
The iconic man of worship and war, King David, wrote, “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” Psalm 23:4 How could he stand behind such a bold statement? His circumstances were screaming at him that he was going to die but, somewhere on the inside, a mighty faith was declaring to him that he would live. There is something extraordinarily powerful and awe-inspiring about someone facing sure doom yet fears no evil because of their confidence in God. Jesus declared this place of existence as one that is blessed!
“Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John20:29NIV
Oh the beauty and magnificent wonder of the life of faith! Our surrender to the life of faith is the greatest longing of God! Jesus often said to his disciples, “Where is your faith.“ To live a life inside of the grace and the protection of God is the key to live a life free from this world! At one time a crowd of Jews came and asked Jesus a very important question that each one of us should settle in our own minds and hearts.
John 6:28-29 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”29Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
Why is believing the work God is looking for? It is because believing causes you to live in all the righteousness and goodness of who he is! God wants us to experience his power and grace but only faith can tap you in!
Do you want to please God? Do you want to do what he wants you to do? BELIEVE! There is a life available to you that is beyond this world! A life where nothing is broken and nothing needs to be fixed. A life of supernatural living inside of the love, grace, and protection of God! I am praying for you today.
