YOUR GREAT PURPOSE!
It is interesting how we become what we think about the most. Likewise, those we hang out with the most, we become like. Show me the books you read and the people you associate with, and I can show you your future. Before you can have a life of success, you will focus your life on soaking in the mindset of success. Look at these precious truths from the Word of God!
Col 3:1-2 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
Eph 4:31-32 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, and anger, brawling, and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Rom 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.
Oh, how important it is to consider this thought. What you are consistently looking at and thinking about is what you will become! The success of your future is determined by what you decide to set your mind on! If you want to become like Christ, you must set your mind on Christ! When you read the books and listen to the podcasts of successful people, you will see that they know this principle intimately! I’ve heard it said before, “What you behold is what you will become.” What do you allow in your eyes and ears? What is your mind feeding upon? What is your moment by moment thoughts? This is the key to your future!
Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray. It is also necessary for you to have moments to reboot! You must keep the vision for your life in clear view and choose to make every moment count! Don’t allow any negativity. It will keep you from the best that God has for you! The principles of heaven become your lifestyle by meditating on them day and night!
