AMBASSADOR OF LOVE!

Trying to fully comprehend the passion and love that God has for you is like trying to put all the oceans of the world into a teaspoon; it is simply impossible! God is in love with you. He is in love with the people of this world! He desperately wants them to know how much he cares for them and how his heart longs for them to be with him for all eternity!

It is most interesting to note that when love is not the modus vivendi, evil runs rampant. As Edmund Burke so aptly stated, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good man do nothing.” That is how it is in this world, and your family, and your marriage, etc. Evil will triumph when love is not in control. Oh, that we would understand how truly loved we are! This is indeed the key for love to spread to the world through us!

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

God loves you with an everlasting love! God loves your neighbor and your coworker and that person down the street and that guy at the gas station with that same everlasting love! Should they have the privilege of knowing this love? The answer is an emphatic YES! So, why are we not, as the body of Christ, more effective at letting the world know the love of God? The answer is this – My outward effectiveness is directly linked to my inward reality. When my mind knows no other way to perceive my existence except inside of the love of God, then those around me will, without a doubt, experience the reality I live in.

Mark 16:15 Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation."

St. Francis of Assisi is often attributed the coinage of this phrase, “Preach the Gospel at all times, and if necessary, use words? I believe our life should speak louder than our words. Words are definitely needed, but a life that declares our words is even more necessary! God has called us to be ambassadors of his amazing love!

2 Cor 5:20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.

You were called to represent! You are God’s ambassador! May we be about the business of heaven – sharing the good news of God’s love! He wants to flow through you! How can this happen? Set your mind fully on the reality of God and his love for you today! The more God’s love becomes you, the more you will be God’s shining…
