WAITING

Taking the time to get before God to obtain his heart is something very few do. Spending time with him, listening for his voice and sharing your heart with him is often referred to as waiting. It is during these times of waiting that God releases his power, wisdom, and help to carry out heaven’s purposes on earth.

Isa 40:31 They that wait upon the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Col 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful, and thankful.

The Bible says that Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray. Luke 5:16 If Jesus needed to spend time with his Father, how much more you and I. When we spend time waiting/praying, great strength from heaven is released! Things that were impossible now become a reality. People who seemed unreachable are now touched by the precious love of God! Oh how God longs for those who will press into him! Consider these potent words of Jesus.

John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

WAITING ! I am praying for you today. Don’t wait till tomorrow. Today is your opportune time! The reason that you are reading this Encouraging Note is that you are hungry for God! Therefore, as I pray for you today, I am confident that you will be spurred on by the Holy Spirit into a precious time with your Father today! Yes, God will find you…
