GREAT INPUT
You’ve heard it before: “Garbage in – garbage out.” I think this is an underestimated reality! This truth makes me excited about my future! The fact that I know that what I put in can change my destiny, gives me the determination to take careful inventory of what’s going in me! The greater the input, the greater the output! Think about it – to whom or to what are you listening to? If there were ever something essential to listen to, it would be the voice of God! What God says to you will be the key to your existence on earth!
Consider these words of Jesus:
Jn 12:49-50 For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say."
John 10:3-5 NIV The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.
Jesus knew the voice of his Father and, therefore, hit the bull’s-eye for his life purpose. Jesus told us that his sheep know his voice. A sheep does not know the voice of the shepherd right off the bat – it takes time. The more you meditate on God’s Word and the more you spend intimate time with him, the more you will know his heart and recognize his voice.
On this same vein, there are a couple Scriptures that are so vital to understand, here they are.
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Proverbs 18:22 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Do you see it? Whatever is in you in abundance is what will come out of your mouth, and what comes out of your mouth will carry the power of life and death. Think about it. God created the universe through speaking! Since we are created in his image and likeness, we also supposed to create through our words. When we understand the power of our words, it will encourage us to be careful with our input. Sometimes we underestimate the power of what we allow in our eyes and ears! This is a grave mistake! We must recognize that our future rests within our thought life! If you change the way you think, it will change the way you feel. If you change the way you feel, it will change the way you act. If you change the way you act, it will change your entire destiny. Make no mistake; the way a person thinks determines their entire existence!
This whole idea makes me excited! Within my grasp is a more significant life than what I have known in the past! This rewarding and fulfilling life is available to anyone who chooses their input wisely and makes monitoring their thoughts a priority. Yes! A life that is supernaturally empowered by God is available! I am praying for you today! I’m praying that you will be inspired to tap into this amazing life through…
