THE REPORT ABOUT YOU

When anyone begins to live in God, a power from God is released that causes real change in those it comes into contact with. Our world desperately needs a display of who God is on this earth. The word of God is clear; faith alone is what accesses the power of God. 

Matthew 13:57-58 When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there. Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” And they took offense at him.

But Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown and in his own house is a prophet without honor.”

 And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith

Heb 11:6  And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Many times, Jesus said, "Your faith has healed you." Do you remember the story of the man who came to Jesus who had a demon-possessed son and begged Jesus to heal him “if he could.”? Jesus responded, 

Mk 9:23 "’If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."

Apostle Paul made this declaration; “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world. Rom 1:8

Think about it. If someone was to create a report about you, what would they say? Would the word “faith” be mentioned in that report? I fervently contend that the most important word in the Bible is the word believe. It is faith alone that empowers us to tap into the wonderful life God intended for us. The grace and love of God are only accessed by those who are humble enough to accept God’s reality and truth.

Remember, access to the power of God is by faith alone! Take inventory of what you believe regarding God and his word! My prayer for you today is that faith would arise in your heart! May you, by faith, walk in the power of God and may you be known as one who truly believes God!  YES, YES, YES! I’m looking forward to hearing…
