YOUR BLESSED FUTURE
Do you know that God cares deeply about your future and wanted to be blessed more than you do? The Bible declares that God was thinking about you and planning out your life even before the worlds began.
Ephesians 1:4-6 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, he predestined us for adoption to sonship c through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
Jeremiah 1:5a “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Though God has plans for your life, there is a part you must play. The price of your future is your present. To have a great future, you must be an expert at living in the now. Being a wise manager over what you already have will give you the confidence to be a manager over much.
Mat 25:23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
Luke 16:10-12 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?
Determining to put God first and focusing on what is currently before you will secure you a future you can be excited about. John Maxwell says it like this, “You will never change your life until you change something you do daily.” Live today, doing your very best as if it was your last! This is one of the most important keys to a great tomorrow!
God wants this more for you than you can imagine! While many people live in the past or hope for the future, only a few will take possession of their now and end up with a life of real significance! Faith does not operate in the past or in the future; faith is now!
The opportunity of a lifetime is in front of you! Right now, is the perfect opportunity to refocus on your present so that you can live in the moment! Take possession of what is right in front of you! Take the next 10 minutes by storm and make each minute count and then do the same with the following 10 minutes and the following, and the following – etc. I promise you, if you do this, you will be on your way to…
