YOU CAN REST ON THAT!

Has fear ever crept into your life to the point where you feel like something is likely to go wrong at any time? I have! There have been many times when I became sidetracked and lured away from the faithfulness and safety of God and brought into the dungeon of fear and worry. Trusting God is the only place of safety! God is true, and His Word is true! He will never let you down! His plans for you are beautiful and for your very best! When we wholly trust God, our hearts are at rest and favor chases us!

Psalm 33:4  For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. 

Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Never underestimate the power of rest! It is the secret to productivity! Even when bad things seem to be happening around you, if you will choose to rest in God’s love and faithfulness, they will only be steppingstones for the great things that God has ahead for you! 

Hebrews 4:1-2 Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.

Should there be an effort to your Christianity? The answer is an emphatic YES! The most productive exertion of effort you will ever embark upon will be to rest in the love and grace of God! 

Hebrews 4:11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.

Your greatest pursuit should be that of resting in the completeness of God’s provision for you through Jesus Christ! He is your complete answer! He is for you! Yes! He is for you! He is the way-maker in your life! He is the miracle worker needed to bring about heaven’s purpose through you!

So, what does that kind of effort look like? The effort I am speaking of is the effort of resolutely fixing your mind on what God believes about you! I may sound like a cracked record because I am convinced that once we tap into this truth, revival will spread like wildfire! Surrendering to the reality that you are God’s dream come true will bring a breakthrough to this world that will blow away every revival in the history of humanity! The greatest need of man is to be loved; it is the key to unlock the doors of heaven’s prosperity!

When we trust the grace of God, our hearts are at rest! This pleases God and increases the flow of his favor that he so longs to release into our lives. May you trust God today! Go ahead! Today is your day to lay back in his arms of love and provision and relax! God has you; he is faithful and...
