GREATER THINGS!

While many people are living in fear, I believe, as the body of Christ, our most exciting days are ahead! This pandemic did not take God by surprise! God has great things in store for us! I have never been and never will be satisfied with business–as–usual style of church and Christianity! Sometimes things need to get shaken up a little for a change to be made! What a great time to be trusting God for GREATER THINGS than we have seen so far! Look at these powerful words of Jesus: 

Jn 14:12 I tell you the truth, ANYONE who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even GREATER THINGS than these because I am going to the Father. 

Mt 10:7-8 As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 

1 Cor 2:1-5   When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power. 

1 Cor 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.

We are living in the age of the kingdom! Jesus said, “But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.” (Luke 11:20) Think about it – God is longing to pour out his purpose and power through us! We are his ambassadors! Are you excited about being a part of releasing God’s power and purpose? Is there a stirring in your heart for God to show up? Meditate on these powerful scriptures. Take time to soak it up! Don’t settle for less! God has greater things for you! The world is hurting – we need a miracle in our land! I believe that you would agree with me that it is time for…
