Have you ever seen that person who has such an admirable commitment to the gym but never loses fat because they haven’t changed their eating habits? I have been that person more times than I would like to admit. Lord have mercy! The Bible speaks of people in the last days whose God is their stomach. Phil 3:19 There is a death process that must take place to make a lifestyle change with our eating habits. But, what astounding victory can be ours when we humble ourselves to the needed change!

Our spiritual life is very similar. God set up life in such a way that death always precedes life. Jesus, when predicting his death, said it like this, "I tell you the truth unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." John 12:24

Doing the things that bring greatness is usually challenging to follow through with, but oh, so worth it! No pain–no gain! Right? It's easy to start losing weight or getting fit, but difficult to follow it through to the end. Walking with God and knowing Him is a commitment that needs to be renewed daily. How true this saying is. “The secret to one’s future can be found in their daily routine.” The world and all of its deceitful lusts are pulling and tugging at our hearts and minds every day. Don’t ever allow the devil to lie to you by saying that you can’t do it – there’s just no hope for you! I promise you – it is in your DNA to win! You have royal blood! You are just like your eternal Daddy – a conqueror! Oh, yes! You will win if you don’t give up!

2 Corinthians 4:16-18  Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 

I know it isn't easy, but you can do it! God has never asked you to do something that he cannot accomplish through you! God loves you so much that he sent his only son for you! You are so valuable that he went to the cross for you. I assure you, he is not about to give up on you now! Jesus said to the man who was desperate to see his demon-possessed son delivered, "Everything is possible for him who believes.”  Mk 9:23 When things are confusing all around you and life seems to be closing in on you, one thing is of utmost importance – BELIEVE! There is nothing that will ensure your victory more than simple trust in God! So, what is your most important job? BELIEVE!!! Today is your day to win! God is on your side – you will make it! I promise you…
