Nobody goes through life without trial and testing! Jesus said, “In this world, you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world.” John 16:33b So if you’re facing challenging times, understand that you’re not the first one to go through something like this, and you’re not alone! Nobody escaped trials, not even Jesus! So, it is not whether you’re going to go through trials, but rather how you will respond during those trials. Here is a great perspective. 

Psalm 46:1-2 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. 

How could a person not fear in such circumstances? Fear is destroyed when you consider God to be your answer and the one who will make a way for you! Trusting in yourself is a sure way to fear, anxiety and stress which results in sickness and disease. This is why the word we use for chronic illness is dis-ease. Trusting in God is a sure way to peace, contentment, amazing breakthroughs, and excellent health! Choosing to trust in God to be your refuge and strength, and knowing that he is always with you is a game-changer! 

When you believe God to be the source for all that you need is when you will truly encounter him as the love of your life! Yes! Your first love! When God is first in your affections, first in your passions, first in your finances, first in your life dreams and strategies – yes, first in everything, you will live the abundant life that only faith in God brings! My dear friend, God longs to pour out his love and goodness upon you! The only hindrance to the blessing of God is unbelief! Jesus said, “To him who believes, all things are possible!” Mark 9:23 When we trust God, we tap into supernatural power!  

So, the question is not whether you are facing trials are not, but rather, how are you responding to them. Are you trusting God to be your refuge and strength? Do you know that He is always with you? Do you know that He loves you! Do you know that because of the blood of Jesus you are perfect in His sight and, therefore, have a right to all his blessings? Have you trusted him enough to put Him first in your life? These are powerful truths that have the ability to launch you into the abundant life God lives in!  

Oh yes! Thank you, Lord! Today is our day! Now is our opportunity! Oh yes! Receiving and applying these truths to our lives is partaking of…
