Do you know that God is very involved with your deepest desires? Do you know that he ponders everything you do and say? One of King David’s deepest desires was to dwell in the presence of God at all times and to live his life beholding the beauty of the Lord in the temple of the Lord. King David had come to understand that there was no fulfillment in all of the world as wonderful as abiding in the glorious presence of Almighty God and gazing upon his beauty! Excitement is rising within me because I believe God is raising up a generation that is pressing into God and gaining a compelling glimpse of King David’s heart and revelation! 

Oh, that we would know how beautiful God is! Oh, that we would understand his heart for us! God is so longing for you! Yes, yes, yes – you are everything he has ever wanted! You are his prized possession! I believe now is the time for the revelation of the love of God to overcome the people of God! I believe the people of God are saying, like King David, “just one thing.” 

Psalms 27:4,8 One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.

Is it possible for you to access this kind of revelation and understanding? The answer is an emphatic yes! God wants to open himself up to those who will seek his face! Be very careful that you don’t get trapped by religion and act like your seeking God through the religious works of prayer, reading the Bible and worship! Yes – prayer, reading the Bible and worship are a must if you are going to draw near to God, but many are not sincerely doing those things to draw near to God but rather to perform a religious work to feel like they are righteous. The only way to experience God is to draw near to him with an honest heart through prayer, his word and heartfelt worship! 

Experiencing the presence of God begins with a childlike heart that surrenders to his reality, accepting his love and embrace! Experiencing the presence of God necessitates a person to receive their perfect standing with God as provided through the sacrifice of Jesus! Please, my dear friend, don’t try hard to believe God! The secret to the presence of God is not found in working hard to have faith, but resting in the faith of God? Oh, yes! God is forever faithful and true, and resting in that is what taps you into all that God is! 

God already believes in you. Will you accept that? Will you acknowledge the love and embrace of God for you today? I am praying that you will indeed dive into the love of God today and that you will be overwhelmed with his amazing love! I am praying that your heart will swell with longing for him and that you will open up your heart to a life more rewarding and fulfilling than you’ve ever imagined! Please know this – no one loves you the way he does! There is no one in all of this world that can fulfill your deepest longings but him! Today is your day to let go and receive! Acknowledge his precious love for you and his faith in you! Today is your day to passionately say along with King David...
