Sometimes life is confusing! You get a vision from God that tells you that you are to go north. And then, the next thing you know; it seems as if God is leading you south – what's the deal? Have you felt like saying, God, do you know what you're doing? I have! But I promise you, God not only has a plan for you, but he also has the very best plan! The question is not whether God can fulfill his promise or not; the question is, will you believe him! It is easy to complain when things aren't going the way we think they should, but I assure you. God's plan has not failed! The process of God is the perfect process! He knows you better than you know yourself! Will you trust him? He is completely faithful, and he knows what is best for you! 

Prov 20:24 A man's steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand his own way?

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Do you remember the story of Joseph when his brothers were going to kill him but instead sold him into a lifetime of slavery? The brothers thought that they were destroying his life, but God was setting his life up for ultimate purpose and significance. It was those circumstances that created his eventual place of power and authority. 

Sometimes, it may seem as if God is trying to hurt you, not bless you. What you're going through can be compared to going to the gym. An intense workout can be agonizing, but the results are so worth it! God cares more about your future than you do! He is like an excellent trainer who knows how to push you to the point that will bring about the most significant benefit! 

He has great plans in store for you! You must believe him! Next time things seem confusing and it looks as if you are going the opposite direction you thought you were supposed to go, remember that God has a fantastic plan for your life. He is in control and has you on track for fulfilling the wonderful purpose for which you were created – even if you...
