YOUR WORDS

In one of my recent Encouraging Notes, I talked about the importance of our actions and how they speak louder than our words. Being able to articulate what is best is a good thing, but how much better to be a person whose actions exceed their words! 

James 2:17-19 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.

James 1:22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 

There is no better day than today to step into God's purpose for your life! So how do you step into God's purpose for your life? It is of utmost importance that you understand that your thoughts determine your actions and, therefore, your destiny. The beginning of greater purpose is greater thinking! 

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is –his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Do you pay attention to your thought life? The person who centers their thoughts on what God says is a person who is headed for greatness! Yes! When your thoughts about what God says of you become more dominant than what the enemy is trying to tell you, you will see the victory of God in your life! A victorious life finds its power in the habit of focusing on God's truth rather than focusing on circumstances. 

What an opportunity you have today to go higher than you've ever gone before! The future of greatness is within your grasp! Thinking different thoughts continually will indeed transform you into a different person! My prayer for you today is that you would rise up and take control of your thought life as never before! As you meditate on God's thoughts towards you as declared in his word, his faith will fill your heart, and you will be empowered to conquer every challenge that is before you! God has his hand on you, and his plans for you will not fail! As you apply these principles, I believe you will experience the empowerment of God that causes your actions to exceed the content of…
