IT'S ALL ABOUT KNOWING!

If you have been reading my posts then you will gather that I believe successful life is all about the love of God. But, we must be clear: Love is ALL about KNOWING God. The word know in the New Testament is often referring to a complete knowing--as in intimacy. The word for know in the Greek is ginōskō. It was commonly used in Jesus' day to refer to sexual intercourse. Intimacy with God releases His glory! Daniel tells us, "Those who know their God will be strong and do great exploits.” Dan 11:32

The Apostle John drives home this point by saying, "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and KNOWS God. Whoever does not love does not KNOW God, because God is love. 1Jn 4:7-8

The kind of love that will change this world is not of human origin – it must come from God! This kind of love is not something we can work up but rather must be soaked up. We must relinquish our efforts of trying to be right with God and completely surrender to the righteousness granted to us through Jesus Christ. Apostle Paul said it like this:

Philippians 3:10-12 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

God is passionately in love with you! He wants you to KNOW Him. God is longing to be intimate with you because he longs to impart into you his glory and his love! Are you ready for an adventure of a lifetime? Prepare your heart to fully receive the love of God! Prepare to go deeper into intimacy with God than ever before! Now is the time! Now is your moment to dive in because the truth is…
