GET READY!

Do you sense something unusual going on in the earth? A Scripture that keeps popping up in my mind is, “See, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you, and his glory appears over you.” Isa 60:2  With that Scripture in mind, doesn’t it seem like we are in that season right now? To me, it looks like we are in the season for that Scripture to be fulfilled and for the glory of the Lord to come upon us? As we witness the climate of our nation and world continuing to digress into craziness and uncertainty, you can be sure that God is up to something that will more than match it! 

Rod Parsley once said, “Expectancy is the breeding ground for miracles.” I believe this is true! We must prepare our hearts in a spirit of faith if we are going to be a part of the great things God wants to do! I remember hearing TD Jakes say, “God propels those who are prepared for their purpose.” As those who bear the name of Jesus Christ, we need to be preparing for the exciting things that God has in store for us! 

Hebrews 10:23-25 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another –and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Your preparation today will position you for a greater outpouring in your life tomorrow! Oh yes! It’s time to get ready now! With a heart full of expectancy, prepare yourself today so that you can see the glory of God revealed in and through your life! 

Romans 13:11-14 And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. 14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

It is time for us to clothe ourselves with all that God provided for us through Jesus! You must know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God sees you is perfect because of the blood of Jesus! You must confidently take hold of your right standing with God and move forward as a brave soldier in the army of God! 

Jesus told the man with the demon-possessed son, “To him who believes, all things are possible!” (Mk 9:23) Set your sights high by believing God for a great revival within you and those around you! From Scripture, we know that it is faith that moves the mighty hand of God! Significant revivals of the past that shook nations came through simple people who prayed and believed God! It’s your faith that is necessary for a release of heaven’s anointing! Hey! What are you waiting for? Come on; it’s time to…
