AT PEACE

The word peace in the Bible is the Hebrew word shalom.  The word shalom speaks of oneness or being made whole.  An agreement of peace between two nations that are fighting means they have become "one again" (on speaking terms again). The blood of Jesus gives us peace with God; it makes us "one again" with God. It gives us shalom.

Colossians 1:19-20   For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts since as members of one body you were called to peace.

God wants his peace to rule or literally, "umpire" your heart and mind in Christ! This means that peace will let you know what to allow in your life and what not to allow! It is by faith alone that we access this blessed place of peace with God. Apostle Paul said, "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1

God made it possible for you, without your works, to access that place of intimacy with him. He is in love with you; he longs to be close to you! You are his greatest desire; his dream come true!

May you live in oneness with God! May you, because of the sacrifice of Jesus, operate in this life, knowing you are loved, forgiven and free. Wow! What a treasure! I am praying and trusting God for you today! May you know God’s shalom! May you be…
