SUCCESS

Success in life is not an accident. God has given us principles that work when consistently adhered to. Maybe you have heard it said, “An ounce of favor is worth a lifetime of labor.” That statement is so true! One good idea has the power to make you live like a king for the rest of your life.

Though we are not all called to the same type or measure of success, all of us are called to live in success! True success is not something on the outside but rather something on the inside. Real success is found in the grace of God. Grace is the undeserved help, power, and favor to do what you could not have otherwise done on your own. Consider these scriptures:

James 4:6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Mt 23:12 Whoever humbles themselves will be exalted.

1Pe 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due time:

Pr 22:4 humility and the fear of the Lord bring wealth and honor and life.

One of the secrets of accessing the grace of God is humility. The most significant sign of humility is when one’s heart surrenders to the fact that God is all that he says he is and that what he has said is true! Often people use all their efforts to try to understand God instead of resting in who he said he is and what he said he will do. Therefore, we should give our most significant effort to enter the rest that Jesus provided! The Bible declares that Joshua was not able to bring the people of God into the place of God’s promised rest, and therefore, a special place of rest remains available for those who will believe!

Heb 4:8-11 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, f just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.

The vilest and most hideous sin against God is that of not believing and receiving what Christ did for us at the cross. When someone comes to God in alignment with God’s design as found in his word, they cease from their own works and their own righteousness and enter the rest of God’s eternal seventh day!

I am praying for you today – may you be a humble person! May you be humble enough to receive the profound provision of grace granted to us through Jesus Christ! I pray that your simple, childlike faith will enter you into the amazing grace God has provided for your life. Do you hear God speaking? He longs for you to step into the amazing life grace! With all my heart, I believe that the body of Christ is heading into an unprecedented revival of God’s grace! Oh Yes! It’s time for success – God’s…
