UNBELIEVABLE WORSHIP

Have you ever been in a worship service where the presence of God was so thick that it seemed as if you could cut it with a knife? Have you ever been so caught up in worship that you find yourself dancing before the Lord or kneeling at his feet with tears of gratitude and praise? God longs for this kind of intimacy, and this is what you were created for. Ps 22:3 says that God inhabits the praises of his people. It’s not just any kind of praise but praise and worship that comes from the heart! What if you gave everything? What if you worshipped with reckless abandonment? What if all that you are was entirely consumed by all HE is?

2 Sam 6:14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might, and David was girded with a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.

Praise and worship belong to God! If we don’t praise him, even the stones will cry out in worship to God!

Luke 19:37- 40 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: 38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” 39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” 40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

The following scripture is a powerful declaration of what praise and worship should look like.

Psalms 150:1-6 Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. 3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord

WOW! That’s an all-out, ecstatic, crazy praise! This kind of praise is far from a religious ritual; it is being consumed with all that God is and praising him with fervent abandonment! This kind of worship of God is in your DNA and is what you were created for! Wholehearted, passionate worship brings the glorious presence of God! Oh, yes! God inhabits this kind of praise! Don’t you think it’s time to go all out! Don’t you think it is time to give him what he really deserves… ALL! You can! Why not? He is so worthy!!! Yes!!! It’s time for…
