“Those who know their God will be strong and do great things.” Dan 11:32

The most intense and pleasurable experience you will ever have is experiencing the heart of God! God’s love is so profound that getting even a glimpse of what he is like is overwhelming! To experience the heartbeat of God, you must be one who pursues his heart. God spoke of David saying, “I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.” Acts 13:22b

The prophet, Jeremiah, said, “You will seek me, and you will find me after that you have sought for me with all your heart.” Jer 29:13

Experiencing the heart of God is profound and precious! Finding God is experiencing his reality. It is experiencing how he feels and how he thinks. Those who have genuinely given themselves to the Lordship of Jesus Christ hear the voice of God and, therefore, begin to experience his heart. God not only wants you to see what he does, but also, he wants you to know his ways. He wants you to know his heartbeat! Moses was an ordinary man yet had an extraordinary relationship with God. When speaking of Moses, the psalmist said, “He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel.” Psalm 103:7 Moses not only saw what God was doing, but he also experienced the heart of God. He knew his ways.

Likewise, genuine children of God know the mind of God. Apostle Paul revealed this truth when he said, “For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” 1Cor 2:16

Those who truly know the heart of God know that God is love to the nth degree. Knowing the heart of God is knowing that you can, without question, rely upon the love he has for you. One of my favorite scriptures in the Bible says, “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”1 John 4:16

Ultimately, knowing God’s heart is having the assurance that he is profoundly in love with you! When speaking of his own children, God said, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” Jer 31:3 Oh, yes! Before God formed you in the womb, he knew you! Jer 1:5 Do you know how deeply God loves you? Do you live your days, minutes, and seconds inside of that love? What you believe about God’s thoughts towards you will determine your life! The amount of love you received from God will determine the amount of love that flows through your life. Jesus said, “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:35 NLT
