How Are You Going to Make It?

There are times when life can become overwhelming! At times I have felt like I was at the end of my rope – I was done! Those difficult times proved to be monumental in my life because it was then that I learned some of my greatest lessons. Look at the perspective given by the Holy Spirit through Apostle James.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”

More than anything, God wants you and I to trust him! No matter what you’re going through, God has a way to make it turn out for your good! God cares about you more than you care about yourself! I promise you this; you can trust him!

Psalms 46:1-5 NIV  God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Selah

Romans 8:28 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

It’s not whether you’re going to make it or not; it’s how you’re going to make it! You can live in fear and worry, which will bring about more trouble in your life or, you can trust God and step into that glorious place of peace and glorious freedom! Let’s trust God today! He is Almighty, all-loving, and has your best in mind! Consider this powerful thought.

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:

“For your sake, we face death all day long;

we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” j

37No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:31-39

Oh, yes! The Word of God not only says that you will win, but it declares that through Christ, you are more than a conqueror! Yes, through Christ, you are all of that and more! :-) You and God are a majority! With God as your partner, you cannot lose! How about saying an emphatic YES to God’s truth! As you consider these thoughts today, I trust that God inspires you with the confidence to answer this question boldly…
