What He Thinks About You

Living to impress people is one of the great dilemmas of our day. Your thoughts about yourself are far more important than what others think of you because “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7 Similarly, looking at churchgoers to get your spiritual bearings can, at times, confuse what a Christ-like life should look like. Many claim Christianity yet are still trying to do enough good things to deserve God and earn his favor! This is the life that leaves people condemned, afraid, and headed for spiritual disaster. Believing what God says about you is the first step to a life full of meaning and purpose!

Do you know that you are royalty? Do you realize that, because of the precious blood of Jesus, you are an heir of God and co-heir with Jesus Christ? Apostle Paul substantiated this truth by writing, “Now, if we are children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” Romans 8:17 Sharing in the sufferings of Christ has nothing to do with your righteousness but instead putting your complete trust in the sufferings and sacrifice of Jesus on your behalf.

Therefore, believing God is paramount for your future! Indeed, what you believe about yourself is the compass of your future! Your life will supernaturally head in the direction of God’s great purpose for you when you believe that you are who God says you are because, as Jesus said, “To the person who believes, everything is possible.” Mk 9:23 Similarly, Henry Ford said, “If you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right.” Therefore, it is paramount to keep your mind on what God says about you! You are who God says you are, and you can do what God says you can do! God has created you to win! You can accomplish your life purpose because you will succeed as you believe! 

Matthew 8:13  Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! It will be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.

The most important battle you will ever face is the battle of your mind. When you face unfavorable circumstances is when the battle is truly on. During these times, the Word of God must be crowned as king and supreme authority in your thoughts! You must be relentless at seeing yourself as God sees you–a victorious conqueror! To be sure, who you see yourself as is who you will become. A new year is soon to begin, and God is looking for those who will center their lives upon what he believes about them!

Maybe it’s time to take a new inventory of your thought life. When you change your thoughts, you change your feelings, actions, and destiny! As this year comes to a close, an opportunity to start fresh and new is available. Now is the time to get excited about a brand-new you through thinking brand-new thoughts! God has great plans for you, and his thoughts towards you are exceedingly wonderful! I can promise you this –your bright future is intricately connected to setting your mind on…
