CAN GOD USE YOU?
The religious leaders were enraged at Jesus for healing a man on the Sabbath, but all Jesus did was speak, and the person was healed. Though the religious leaders had to speak to level their accusation against him, in their eyes, Jesus speaking that created healing on the Sabbath day was a crime. Wow! The blindness of religiosity! It almost seems unbelievable. They were fiercely angry at him for simply using his mouth to bring healing to a hurting person. Here is the account of what happened.
Luke 6:9-11 Then Jesus said to his critics, “I have a question for you. Does the law permit good deeds on the Sabbath, or is it a day for doing evil? Is this a day to save life or to destroy it?” He looked around at them one by one and then said to the man, “Hold out your hand.” So the man held out his hand, and it was restored! At this, the enemies of Jesus were wild with rage and began to discuss what to do with him. (NLT)
If it happened to Jesus, it could also happen to you. Religion is always against God’s true works, i.e., the power of God transforming people’s lives. We are in the last days, and God is getting ready to release a revolution of his love as never before! It will be the love of God living through us that will cause the healing power of God to move as never before!
Just like Jesus, may we be willing to release the power of God despite any opposition. Revival is a result of being impacted by the reality of God. A revival of the love of God is coming, and a great unity amongst believers will be found in its wake! Christians are getting ready to step into the Sabbath rest that the book of Hebrews speaks of. Great work comes through great rest! It’s time to be completely saturated in the rest that comes from the grace and love of God! It is time to rest in the powerful, finished work of Christ!
Let today be your day to refuse any thoughts of earning God’s favor and goodness and choose to rest like never before and his love and grace. If you will, the ministry of heaven will be knocking at your door! God will use you! Are you ready for this?… Are you excited? Right now, choose to open up your heart and receive! Yes!
