Get Ready

If there was ever a time that would resemble what the Bible speaks of as the last days, it is now. This is not a time to live on the defensive; no, now is the time to go all out for the purposes of God! Now is the season for the glory of God to be poured out! Rod Parsley once said, “Expectancy is the breeding ground for miracles.” I believe this is true! We must prepare our hearts in a spirit of faith if we are going to see the great things God wants to do! I believe that God propels those who have taken the time to be prepared for their purpose.

There will be a holy huddle happening all over the world tomorrow as people come together to prepare for a greater week of purpose than ever before. The word of God tells us that where two or more are gathered in the name of Jesus, God is in the midst of them. Mt 18:20 These times of meeting together are very important to God! Our times together give us the opportunity to spur each other toward God’s great purpose of love and good deeds.

Hebrews 10:23-25 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another –and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Oh, yes! With a heart full of expectancy, get yourself ready today to meet with God tomorrow! In faith, get your clothes ready, your shoes ready, and anything else you need. More than anything else, get your heart prepared by choosing to believe God for his outpouring! Get to the meeting place of your church family early and be one of those who will usher in the presence of God through prayer! Look for people you can love and minister to while preparing yourself for God to pour his glory into you!

Do you remember when Jesus told the man with the demon-possessed son, “To him who believes, all things are possible?” Mk 9:23 When you believe God, everything is possible! Set your sights high by believing God for a great revival within you and within the church as a whole. Remember, it is faith that moves the mighty hand of God! Significant revivals of the past that shook nations came through simple people who prayed and believed God! God is looking for someone who will believe him! Is that you? God wants to use you to be a catalyst for the release of his outpouring!
