Have you ever felt like a failure? I sure have! We all have made mistakes and foolish choices that have haunted us and tried to make us feel like failures. The demonic forces of darkness are always there trying to get us to believe that our past failures are what define us. But when you know the truth, you will not allow those things to determine who you are. You have a completely different outlook when you trust God and live according to His righteousness and not your own. In Christ, not only are you not a failure, you are perfect! Look at this powerful Scripture:
Romans 8:33-39 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died –more than that, who was raised to life –is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For your sake, we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. NIV
God and Jesus are never the ones who are condemning you! The word justifies or justified means “just–as –if –I’d –never – sinned.” Because of Jesus, God looks at you as one without sin. Meditate on that for a moment! Carefully consider the following powerful Scripture!
Hebrews 10:14 For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
Through the sacrifice of Jesus, God has justified you, making you perfect in his sight! Not only has Jesus paid the price for you, but he is interceding for you! Wow! The Scripture goes on to say that because of all this, nothing can separate you from the secure love of God for you! In the equation of life, you can be sure of this; when you are trusting God and connected to him, you cannot lose! As a matter of fact, God calls you a conqueror! Yes, you and God equal a majority! Sorry devil, you and your demons of failure are the true losers! Oh yeah – Not today, Satan!
My dearest friend, I challenge you to believe God today! I challenge you to step into the reality of all that God has provided for you through Jesus. May today be the day you choose to set your mind on what he says is true about you! If you will, those demonic feelings of failure and defeat will no longer have any hold on you!
