For Sure

In this world, things are not so certain, and what people say is not always reliable. At times you have to take words that are spoken to you with a grain of salt because sometimes people don’t deliver on what they have promised. But I assure you, if God has said something to you, you can take it to the bank! Yes, what he has said will most certainly come to pass!

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? 

Like me, I know you have noticed how the world is becoming increasingly chaotic and how people are becoming more and more desperate. With all the news of wars and natural disasters, disease, famine, and pestilence, we are witnessing the beginning of what the Bible declares as the end times. For those who do not know God, it is becoming increasingly unbearable. But for those of us who know God, our most exciting days are yet ahead. Here’s what the Scripture says about the days we are living in.

Luke 21:25-28  “And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth, the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides.  People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory.  So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!” 

In a world of uncertainty, it is most reassuring to know that God and his plans are absolute and unwavering. He will surely fulfill what he has promised!

Psalm 33:11  But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

As a child of God, you have nothing to fear! God is in love with you! He will never take his eyes off you, even for one second! He has promised, “Never will I leave you, and he will never will I forsake you!” Hebrews 13:5

It is time to let go and unreservedly trust his love for you! It is time to live on the offensive instead of the defensive. Go for it! Launch out into his purpose for your life! Don’t be known for what you’re fighting against – let the world see what you’re fighting for! If there was ever an exciting time to live, it is now! Pursue with intensity the things God has put before you because you can be sure of this – God’s plan will be fully and accurately executed, and that’s…
