Set Apart

Those who believe God are set apart as children of God and, therefore, royalty. Hence, as a believer, you can be assured that God will always be there to help you!

Ps 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Heb 13:5 5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have because God has said,  “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” 6 So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”

Because King David knew that God was with him, he boldly proclaimed, “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me.” Psalm 23:4

God knows that only those who believe him can access the blessing he has available. Faith is, therefore, the dividing line between those who walk in God’s presence, purpose, and glory and those who don’t. Going through religious motions cannot produce the life of God! Many strive to obtain God’s life through works, but the Scripture declares that it is only through faith that a person experiences God’s life.

Galatians 3:11 NLT So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

Romans 4:3-5 NLT For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” When people work, their wages are not a gift but something they have earned. But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God, who forgives sinners. 

According to these Scriptures, a person is considered godly (or right with God) only if they believe.

Psalm 4:3  Know that the LORD has SET APART the godly for himself; the LORD will hear when I call to him.

Because of God’s great desire to bless and empower us, he is most pleased when we believe him!  “And without my dearest brother doing good, how are you faith, it is impossible to please God.” Heb 11:6 Those who put their complete trust in the blood of Jesus as payment for their right standing with God are righteous and set apart in the eyes of God! Those who believe God are those who live loved, forgiven, and free! Therefore, those who believe God are the ones God can use to carry out heavens’ purposes on earth! Yes – those who believe are the secret weapons of God on earth.

God is pleased when we believe him because believing is the only way we can tap into all the blessings that he has for us! Therefore, believing is what causes you to be God-like and is what sets you apart unto Him! Don’t focus on your works; focus on believing! Don’t worry; a life that looks like Jesus is the natural byproduct of right–believing! It is time to live like royalty! Yes – it is time to live…
